CANO-ART
Like many of the greats, I have traveled down a road of unusual and self changing events. I was born in 1979 in Brooklyn, NY. By the time I was 8 years old I lost both my mother and father to AIDS. My father, a Vietnam Vet, was having trouble coping with the psychological effects of war and contracted the disease during a heavy addiction with heroin which led to my mother contracting the disease. As you can imagine, I had an explosion of emotions and feelings that I needed to express. I immediately learned that creating art was the perfect therapeutic channel.

A big impact on my art was in 1991 in North Miami, Florida when I found graffiti. I was ten years old when an older cousin took me to a nearby apartment building and the result was my first "piece". I became transfixed and addicted to the urban style of art. Graffiti contributed to the biggest growth of my talent and over the years it diversified into oils, acrylic, water colors, graphic design and web design. Although I am a graphic designer by career, my passion is in some great music, messy paint and a sharp brush. I invite you to tour my gallery. Propositions or Inquiries for commissioned artwork are always welcome.
